Seema and Jaideep are getting married next June in San Fransico and they called me to grab some engagement photos right here in Baltimore. We started out downtown and then headed over to Federal Hill for a few shots then we were off to harbor East and Fells point to finish out the afternoon.  Seema and Jaideep were so fun to work with and  I could just feel the bond between them and I think it really came through in the photos.

Victoria and John were married a few weeks ago at the always gorgeous Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.  Victoria is the sister of a great friend of mine and I was so glad when she called me to photograph her wedding.  The weather was fantastic for shooting and Victoria had the day planned perfectly for the light and we got some great stuff throughout the day.  Enjoy !!!

Leslie and Jason were married on 10/10/10 in Baltimore.  They both got ready at the amazingly cool Hotel Monaco in rooms right across the hall from each other then we arranged for Leslie and Jason to see each other in the hotel lobby.  Leslie made her entrance down the big marble staircase and we gave them a few minutes then headed upstairs for some photos.  After we left the hotel we headed over to Federal Hill for the ceremony and family shots.  While I have photographed at Federal Hill many times, I never actually shot a ceremony on the hill.  It’s such a cool venue for a wedding with the entire city as a backdrop, then a great place to shoot right afterwords.   After there ceremony we were chasing the light a bit which I eventually lost the battle and decided to use some street lamps and do some night shots.  We then headed back to the Hotel and the B&O Brasserie for the reception.

It’s always nice to get an email or a phone call from my couples after I shot their wedding saying that they are now expecting and want to get some family photos taken.  Megan and Patrick were married last year and just recently they welcomed little Abby into their lives so we headed over to Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis for a fun little famliy session.  Say hi to the O’rourkes!

Korin and Jota… what an awesome couple!  They were married a few weeks ago in Baltimore at the beautiful Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church and the reception was at Pazo restaurant in Harbor East.  Pazo was such a cool place for a reception.  The balcony and high ceilings made everything seem so grand, plus there was all kinds of great light coming in through the windows.  Since the wedding was an early morning wedding we headed to Patterson Park and Korin and John’s home after the reception to get more photographs.

I had the great pleasure of photographing the Green family a little big ago.  You may recognize these two from their wedding I photographed last year.  Well, shortly after the wedding they welcomed little Eli in to the world and I couldn’t wait to meet him and get some photos.

Combsberry Inn, Oxford MD wedding Photographer

Wow.. It’s been a while since I have posted a wedding or anything else for that matter.   I apologize for being a bad blogger.  Needless to say it’s been a very busy couple of months and I can only blame my awesome clients for that :-)   Anywho, it’s time get posting and the first post of hopefully several this week is Sindy and Alex’s wedding that I photographed back in September.

Sindy and Alex had one of the most unique wedding days I have ever seen.  It all went down in Oxford MD at the Combsberry Inn and a little church in town.  The cool part of the day was that there was basically two weddings with one BIG reception later in the evening.  We started bright and early at the Inn with Sindy and Alex getting ready for the Hindu Ceremony in the morning where Sindy and her bridesmaids were all in gorgeous sari’s and Alex wore a traditional outfit and rode in on a white horse.  Just too cool!  After the Hindu ceremony we took some pics and had a little luncheon before heading back into the inn to start the getting ready shots of everyone before the second ceremony of the day.

The second part of the day was a traditional American style wedding.  Sindy changed into an amazingly awesome gown and Alex donned a nice tuxedo and we headed down to a little church in downtown Oxford for the ceremony. After that we headed back to the inn for more portraits and family photos and then the big reception to close out the day.

We shot alot that day as you can see from the 40 photos that are posted here… It was a blast photographing this wedding!
